We were walking to our casita and before this big bump in the road there was a big group of leaf cutter ants. Some were even carrying leaves. It was dark, but we were walking with flashlights and so we saw them. There were some very big ones. The green things are the pieces of leaves they are carrying. And the blurry brown part underneath is the ant. This is the picture that we took.
Sam - I saw a bunch of leaf-cutter ants when I went to school in Costa Rica too! Were they all walking in a line?

The leaf cutter ants look like regular ants to me. I wonder what they do with the leaves?
