Rufous-tailed Hummingbird

Every morning we see the Rufous-tailed Hummingbird but we thought it was the Cinnamon Hummingbird. Now we know. He likes to hang out where we're eating. His beak is red with white & black on the tip.

  1. I have never seen a Rufous-tailed Hummingbird although I had it marked in my Costa Rica bird book as one I might see. I'll bet you will see a Cinnamon Hummingbird. Keep looking at each one carefully to see what color its breast is.

  2. This bird is common in St. Paul. I see them every day here.
