We were all asleep and there was a big crash! Mom jumped out of bed because she thought I had fallen out of bed. But I was still sleeping in bed. It was a zapote that fell out of the tree. Or maybe a howler monkey threw it on our casita!?!

That zapote is huge! I'm glad it didn't hit you on the head. I looked up "zapote" in my Spanish dictionary, but it wasn't listed. Is it a fruit? Do people eat it?
