Baby Turtles

In the hatchery there were lots of baby turtles and eggs. Four nests hatched in the hatchery. Little tiny cute baby sea turtles. We had to count them and then put them in a bucket. Then bring them close to the sea, take them out one by one and they crawl to the sea. Cute little dudies. There is a baby turtle in front of me in the picture.

  1. Wow, Sam! What a neat experience! It's hard to believe that those little tiny things grow up to be great big sea turtles.

  2. Hi Sam, What a cute picture! I had forgotten about your Cost Rican haircut. I'm so glad the turtle eggs hatched before you left so you could be part of the whole cycle. Lucky you! I wonder when you counted the babies if you counted in English or Spanish...Nana
