I spotted some hummingbirds sucking the nectar from some yellow flowers. It was right before dusk. They had longy long long tongues. They weren't hummingbirds. They were hawkmoths.
I have seen a Hawk moth before once or twice in Cedar Rapids in our yard acting like a hummingbird, and once here on the flowers in the alcove. Have you seen any new hummingbirds?
Wow! That must be a BIG moth if it looks like a hummingbird!
