In Quebrada Culebra (it's this really twisty stream by Dorati Lodge) there's a branch sticking out on the wrong side that we see, and it had a kingfisher. It was a Green Kingfisher but it looked black.
Sam--you are so lucky to have seen that little kingfisher! I have seen the Ringed Kingfisher in Costa Rica which is huge compared to the Green Kingfisher. I hope I'll see it when I come.Nana
Sam: You are surely a good bird-spotter. Do you and Carolyne like to look for birds when you're playing together? I thought it was really interesting when you were following the trail of the leaf cutter ants. Pa
