The Little Hermit

We sat at the usual table that we eat at when we eat lunch. Mom saw a hummingbird. It was a Little Hermit, because we looked it up in the book. We had to use their book and it's way bigger, like Nana's. It seemed really small, but not as small as a bee one. It had stripes by its eye -- black and white.

  1. Sam, That's so exciting! I looked it up in my book. I've never seen one of those. Did you find anything more about the Macaw in your photo that had a yellow-green breast? Nana

  2. Sam, you're right--I love looking at all the birds you're seeing, and the butterfly, too. I wonder how many more varieties of hummingbirds you'll see! Aunt Snookie

  3. Did the hummingbird try to eat any of your lunch?? Remember the hummingbirds in Colorado and how much they liked your red hat??
